Every cat owners who let their cats go outside think their cats only go somewhere near their houses.
But, do you really think so? Then you might have to think again.
There was a recent research that used GPS trackers on cats to track pet cats’ daily movements. The results were far more than what their owners have imagined.

“Oh my cat just sleeps on the end of my bed, it doesn’t go anywhere,” Peter Evans, the senior officer said. Results show it has “gone three kilometres from home.”
“I thought Semi particularly would be just local — bottom of the garden or next door’s yard,” said a cat owner. He couldn’t believe when it turned out that Semi was actually going all over into bushland.

The research was done by The Central Tablelands LLS at Lithgow, in central-west New South Wales.
