I didn’t even think it was humanly possible for one more trend from the nineties to become popular again, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t happy to see these sandals make a triumphant return. These were my favorite shoes back in the day.
Unlike a lot of nineties trends that have been altered for 2017, the slinky sandal is back in all of its original glory. The only changes that have been made to the design are very practical ones — the edges have been rounded and the heel is flatter. They’re the real deal with a subtle technical upgrade.
