His mom has started to educate him about the ‘real world’ from a young age. He is learning that men and boys should always do their bit when it comes to helping around the house.

His mother, Nikkole believes it is her purpose to instill a sense of pride in her son when it comes to doing household chores.

Her son can be seen cooking, cleaning, and helping with the laundry.

He really does know how to pull his weight, I have never seen anything like this in my life. It just goes to show that one version of parenting doesn’t suit all.

“I teach my son to cook & do household chores. Why? Because household work isn’t just for women. Because one day he might be a single man, living on his own, who will actually know how to do laundry & not eat take out every night,” Nikkole wrote in a caption for one of the pictures.

The single mother also has a one-year-old and she says that her sons help really does help taking care of them both properly much much easier.

“I really just want to make sure that he grows up to be somebody who is self-sufficient and that he’s not considered lazy. He’s going to be a good hardworking man. You can’t have that if you don’t start teaching them when they’re young,” Nikkole told ABC News.

Nikkole believes that the younger generations are often unfairly labeled as lazy, but believes it is through lack of encouragement like this. She realized it doesn’t have to be the reality for her own children.
