When it comes to getting up in the morning, I am the worst.
I am definitely not a morning person. I look forward to the weekend every week in the hopes that I might get to lay in. But no. I am sat here behind my laptop on a Saturday morning working away. Which I am actually very thankful for because it feels like minus ten outside, and I’m all snug indoors making bacon.
There are two types of people in this world, those that like mornings, and those that hate them, I am definitely the latter.

What’s worse, this time of year, it’s literally pitch black at 6am, and by the time I get home at 6pm it’s pitch black too. Daylight become a little bit of a rarity.

Getting up in the morning can often be like ripping off a plaster, it’s a hundred times easier when you do it quickly, but so often we do it slowly because the warmth of our bed in the winter becomes too much for us to resist.
For the past few weeks, I keep turning up to work with a bare face, and natural hair, because when it comes to doing my makeup and giving a damn about how I look, I would definitely rather have an extra ten minutes in bed.
In short, I definitely need one of these alarm clocks, I think it would help me improve every aspect of my life.
